One of the finest equine hauling companies this brand works across the USA and Canada with multiple offices across the East Coast.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills and an experience in the logistics industry to join the Dispatch ranks of this excellent company! The ideal candidate will be based in Lexington KY (or willing to relocate) and will be able to work occasional weekends on rotation with the rest of the Dispatch team. This person should be highly organized and will be responsible for acting as the connection & quality control person for the drivers as they transport horses across the country. Equine experience is a plus but not required.
Job Duties
Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers
Answer incoming calls and field inquiries as needed
Take shipping requests from customers
Fill out order forms
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
Track drivers and provide delivery updates to customers
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 12 years experience in Logistics field with focus on driver communications & tracking
Technologically proficient with Microsoft products and capable of learning companyspecific logistics software
Exceptional customer service
Ability to work rotating weekends with others on Dispatch Team
Benefits
$2125/hr
