What Youll Be Doing
The Capital Markets arm of CIBC provides corporate government and institutional clients with innovative solutions to help them raise capital and grow and invest actively throughout North America Latin America and key financial centres around the world. To deliver on its vision to be our clients preferred capital markets banking partner across multiple products and services both in Canada and where our core competencies can be exported in the Americas the Capital Markets mission is to bring Canadian Capital Markets products to Canada and the rest of the world and also bring the world to Canada.
Reporting to the SVP Strategic Client Solutions the Senior Director Client Strategy Marketing & Commercial Value is accountable for leading the analytics function developing commercial strategies and initiatives and overseeing client marketing efforts that drive engagement and organic revenue growth. This role will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with CIBCs strategic objectives and enhance the overall client experience.

How Youll Succeed
Strategic Client Engagement and Management: You will lead the segmentation of strategic client relationships to identify opportunities and manage client coverage assignments to maximize engagement and satisfaction. Design exclusive client experiences and unique events to foster deeper relationships.
Advanced Analytics and DecisionMaking: You will utilize advanced analytics to inform decisionmaking and enhance client targeting strategies. Lead internal change management initiatives to adapt to new processes and technologies.
Innovative Product and Value Proposition Development: You will drive new product development initiatives to address client pain points and enhance commercial value. Build and enhance the SCO value proposition to reflect CIBCs unique benefits and capabilities.
Comprehensive Client Solutions and Marketing: You will develop and package comprehensive client proposals tailored to specific needs. Oversee client marketing efforts and collateral development to ensure consistent messaging while leading the national rollout and enhancement of the SCO CRM system for seamless integration and user adoption.
Who You Are
You have a degree in Finance Accounting Mathematics Computer Science or an Economics undergraduate degree. Completion of an MBA and/or CA or CFA preferred
You have 12 years of experience working with advanced analytics product development and client marketing.
Youre an innovative and conceptual thinker. You have advanced analytical interpretation and problem solving abilities and strong ability to develop compelling vision to support strategic objectives.
