Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Thayer Center for Health in Waterville in a 32hour per week position. This is an exciting opportunity to support anesthesia personnel in providing highquality patient care.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist anesthesia providers in patient preparation monitoring and care.
- Clean disinfect and maintain anesthesia equipment instruments and monitors.
- Stock and order necessary supplies to ensure efficiency in the operating room.
- Troubleshoot and perform daily maintenance on anesthesiarelated equipment.
- Support room turnover to maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment.
- Assist in patient transport positioning and airway management as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
- Anesthesia Technician Certification preferred.
- Listed as active on the State of Maine CNA Registry (preferred).
- Basic Life Support BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Strong analytical skills for equipment troubleshooting.
