Arrowpoint Advisory is the specialist midmarket advisory team within Rothschild & Co.

Arrowpoint Advisory provide expertMergers and Acquisitions (M&A)Debt Advisoryand Special Situations advice to publiclylisted private and family companies entrepreneurs sponsorbacked businesses and management teams investors and lenders.

Arrowpoint Advisorys expertise in the midmarket complements Rothschild & Cos unrivalled capabilities and deal flow in larger situations. Our clients benefit from Rothschild & Cos unique sector and capital markets expertise and its global scale with offices in over 40 countries.

Overview of Role

Opportunity to work within the newly formed Arrowpoint Advisory team in Manchester. Focused on providing impartial expert advice to midsized corporations private equity families and entrepreneurs.

Analyst Responsibilities

Financial analysis and valuation

  • Analyse complex client data and prepare summary reports
  • Perform financial modelling including LBO DCF analysis precedent transaction analysis and comparable company analysis
  • Analyse company financial statements and prepare forecast models

Pitch materials and presentations

  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books presentations and client proposals to support business development
  • Create detailed PowerPoint presentations summarising key findings and strategic insights

Deal

  • Support due diligence processes in live transactions
  • Help track progress of transactions manage timelines and ensure accuracy of data provided to clients
  • Participate in client calls providing support

Market Research and Industry analysis

  • Familiarity with financial databases and ability to extract detailed information and analyse market trends
  • Prepare industry benchmarking reports and client specific trends

Associate responsibilities

Deal

  • Assist in managing the of M&A deals including conducting financial analysis valuation modelling and preparing presentations for clients.
  • Work closely with senior bankers and clients to understand their needs and objectives in the transaction.
  • Oversee the due diligence process ensuring that all aspects of the transaction are carefully reviewed and that any risks or issues are identified.

Financial Modelling

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to analyze the potential impact of M&A deals on the clients financials.
  • Perform valuation analyses (DCF precedent transactions comparables) to assess a companys value.

Client Interaction

  • Act as a liaison between clients and senior bankers.
  • Participate in client meetings and help develop strategies for negotiations.

Documentation and coaching

  • Prepare pitch books information memoranda and other documentation for client meetings as well as financial reports and transactionrelated materials.
  • Manage and mentor analysts providing guidance on daytoday work and helping develop their technical skills.
  • Supervise the work of junior staff to ensure quality and accuracy in deliverables.

Experience Skills and Competencies Required

  • Analyst: minimum of 12 years Corporate Finance experience
  • Associate: minimum of 34 years of Corporate Finance experience
  • A level or equivalent: AAB or above
  • BachelorsDegree or equivalent: 2:1 or above
  • ACA (or equivalent) qualified: first time passes (distinct advantage not essential)
