Job Description

Job Summary

The Director Pension Risk Transfer Sales is responsible for leading and managing activity related to PRT sales.

The Director Pension Risk Transfer Sales will report to the SVP Head of PRT Sales & Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of PRT bid opportunities from initial bid decisioning through commitment agreement .
  • Engage thoughtfully and proactively with PRT consultants leveraging PRT business acumen to cultivate and expand relationships.
  • Manage monitor and report on PRT sales pipeline.
  • Support the development of strategies which expand PRT and adjacent product capabilities.
  • Oversee PRT marketing activities which enhance brand awareness of F&G
  • Coordinate with PRT Pricing Profitability and Operations staff to optimize on PRT sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance Treasury Investments Legal IT and Marketing to ensure that PRT sales opportunities are managed effectively.
  • Lead manage and develop Sales Associate team members.
  • Respond to adhoc requests from management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong background in defined benefit pension pension risk transfer insurance consulting or sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to others in a clear focused and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated conceptualization vision and strategic skills as well as strong influence and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent organization and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in an environment of constant change.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver required results and lead other staff
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance economics mathematics a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial services with a focus on pension consulting
  • Actuarial credentials is a plus
