What Were Looking For
The Warehouse Associate II position requires picking bulk materials for production picking finished goods for delivery to customers stocking shelves hazardous material shipping general maintenance and other warehouse related duties.
What You Will Do
Ensure DOT HAZMAT compliance on all hazardous material shipping to customers
Pick and pack hazardous material based on DOT HAZMAT requirements
Stock raw material goods from receiving
Pick raw material goods per production plan and deliver to designated areas within the warehouse
Stock finished good material from production to designated shelves
Process returns from internal and external customers
Process and complete orders according to customer requirements
Prior to product shipment count all products compare to packing slip and check all shipments for damage infestation and expiration dates
Report shortages damages and miss picks on appropriate forms and inform Warehouse Supervisors of the corrections needed
Check contents of all orders
Compare the quantity quality labeling and address with customers order to insure outgoing shipments are complete and correct
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
Follow PCCAs Standard Operating Procedures
Assists with related special/miscellaneous projects as required
Who You Are
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three to five years experience in a warehouse
Warehouse logistics and forklift experience required
Ability to effectively communicate
Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
Excellent organizational interpersonal and math skills
Must be detail oriented and a selfstarter
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work overtime with short notice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interment computer skills in Microsoft Word Outlook and the Internet
MFGPRO/AIMwarehouse management systems and RF scanner experience
Certifications:
DOT HAZMAT certified (Air and Ground)
Physical Requirements
This position requires daily standing bending reaching
Must be capable of lifting up to but not limited to 75lbs
Ascending or descending stairs ramps and the like using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
Ascending or descending ladders scaffolding poles and the like using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
Bending legs downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Moving about on foot to accomplish task particularly for long distances.
Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward downward or outward.
Standing particularly for sustained periods of time.
Using upper extremities to exert force in order to move objects in a sustained motion.
Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving object horizontally from position to position.
Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist hands and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift carry pull or otherwise move objects.
