Must be able to read a tape measure blueprints and schematics!

Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers. Sets up and operates a variety of machines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of parts
- Performing machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly
- Detecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the manager
- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
- Following safety regulations
- Performing preventative maintenance on machines
- Employees are responsiblefor complyingwith all requirements ofDaifukusQMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to use a band saw hand tools and calipers and perform milling turning drilling taping deburring molding and all bench operations
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Knowledge of quality assurance and selfinspection techniques
- Selfmotivated and detailoriented
- Team orientation
