S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in We are looking for a Summer Student for the Mechanical Assembler Afternoon Shift who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

As a Mechanical Assembler you will

  • Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings
  • Follow set instructions job orders and record information
  • Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists
  • Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles
  • Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards

Who are we looking for Someone who

  • Is currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution (diploma or degree program)
  • Ideally has basic power tool experience; however no prior experience is required
  • Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to work in a fastpaced work environment with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
