Job Description
Job Title: Senior Capture Manager
Job ID: 21033
Job Location: Waco TX
Job Schedule: 9/80; Every other Friday off
Job Description:
The Senior Capture Management position will lead capture supporting new business initiatives on key and strategic pursuits. Most pursuits will be for competitive USAF pursuit but can also include other DoD agencies and related international pursuits.
- Develop communicate and track proposal plans including proposal schedules color team reviews and internal gate schedules
- Shred RFP requirements to ensure development of fully comprehensive proposals
- Support market assessments and business development initiatives. Markets include both USAF and other aviation markets
- Coordinate with consultants for proposal and strategy development
Essential Functions:
- Clear concise written and verbal communications skills.
- Maintains transparent performancebased communications with all levels of leadership.
- Develop and execute high level project plans.
- Lead teams or groups in a matrix organization
- Manage and coordinate with project teams within the business area.
- Demonstrated strongcommunication analytical and organizational skills.
- Work extended hours when required
- Ability to effectively interface with diverse cultures
- Proficient in MS Office and Teams
- Ability topresent to brief senior site leaders
- Must be able to travel for proposal/business needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of experience
- Experience aviation acquisition in the aerospace and/or defense industry
- Experience working with of developing RFPs proposals or Statement of Work development
- Experience in proposal development processes
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of technical approaches involved inaircraft modification programs.
- Knowledgeable of subsystems and components used for aircraft modifications.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance requirements
