Join our team to craft robust and scalable data products that drive our business forward. Leverage our Data Mesh strategy to deliver actionable insights optimize operations and foster a culture of datadriven innovation across teams.
THE JOURNEY
Responsibilities
- Develop data pipelines and optimize data pipelines: data ingestion from transactional sources and APIs data transformation with dbt and workflow orchestration with Airflow
- Model and structure data: Build maintainable data models including fact tables and slowly changing dimensions to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Partner with business teams to understand their needs deliver actionable data solutions and support selfservice analytics.
- Design userfriendly dashboards and LookML models to enable stakeholders to explore and analyze data effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest data technologies methodologies and industry best practices. Experiment with new tools
- Continuously work on improving our data quality
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Requirements:
- Eagerness to work closely with business stakeholders
- Ability to communicate complex data topics to nontechnical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with SQL and Python
- Experience building ETL workloads
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
- Experience with cloud technologies (GCP AWS)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker Tableau Power BI)
Nice to have:
- Experience with test automation (data testing unit and system integration testing)
- Experience building data products in a Data Mesh architecture
- Experience in big data technologies (e.g. Spark) SQL optimisation and performance tuning
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform)
