Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and self-motivated Desktop Support Engineer who will be working Monday to Friday to provide advanced technical support across enterprise desktop infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in Windows platforms SCCM Microsoft 365 administration Active Directory (on-prem and Azure) printer systems and a variety of enterprise IT environments. You will troubleshoot complex issues lead escalations and contribute to project delivery across global IT operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex desktop hardware software and application issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
  • Provide expert break-fix and fault diagnosis support across Windows 10/11 macOS and approved enterprise software suites.
  • Deploy and manage software applications patches and operating systems via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policy Objects (GPOs) organizational units and security group membership.
  • Support Azure AD user provisioning single sign-on (SSO) conditional access and integration with Microsoft 365 and Intune.
  • Perform installation configuration troubleshooting and maintenance of network printers (HP Canon Ricoh etc.) including print server queue management.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues (e.g. IP conflicts VPN access DNS/DHCP issues) and coordinate with networking teams when needed.
  • Manage user access licensing and settings within Microsoft 365 Admin Center (Exchange Teams SharePoint OneDrive).
  • Conduct proactive maintenance performance tuning and endpoint hardening to ensure system stability and security.
  • Work with vendors and third-party support for warranty repairs hardware replacements and AV/VC systems.
  • Update and resolve incidents within ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow Jira etc) according to SLA and escalation policies.
  • Assist in IT asset management device inventory updates and lifecycle planning.
  • Support new user onboarding hardware setup access configuration and remote support using tools like RDP AnyDesk or TeamViewer.
  • Contribute to the rollout of new projects including desktop refresh OS upgrade and cloud migration.
  • Document knowledge base articles and technical procedures for recurring issues and standard processes.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior support staff and contribute to improving team processes and standards.




Requirements

Preferred Certifications:

Proficient in French and English (B2 level minimum)
Must Have Work Permit and Valid Visa (at least 1 year)
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals / M365 Fundamentals CompTIA A / Network
  • ITIL Foundation (Understanding of Incident/Problem/Change Management)

4700 CAD per month. Monday to Friday
