Job Description
Adjunct instructors will be expected to teach courses in photography. Experience in both analog and digital photography expected and candidates must be able to teach studio lighting..Current areas in need include: photography I digital photography I and digital photography II. Other opportunities may exist to teach studio art graphic design or art appreciation courses depending on the departments scheduling and the instructors skillset.
Physical Demands
Sitting standing moving and some lifting.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must satisfy one of the following requirements: 1 a masters degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching; 2 enrolled in a masters program with at least 18 hours of relevant coursework completed; 3 significant professional experience subject to approval by the Provost.
Preferred Qualifications
MFA degree with some teaching experience at the college level. Experience as a graduate teaching assistant may be acceptable.
Work Schedule
As assigned. Possible nights and weekends
