Job Description

Join the Husqvarna Construction team in Olathe KS as a Product Assembler and play a vital role in crafting highquality cutting and sawing equipment including tools for concrete tile masonry metal and more. Youll assemble parts into finished products ensuring exceptional quality and reliability.

Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly Tasks

  • Assemble various components using blueprints hand tools and pneumatic tools performing tasks like wiring bolting aligning and torquing.
  • Preassemble parts such as engines water pumps transmissions and blade guards.
  • Ensure precise fit and finish applying decals and paint touchups as needed.

Quality Control

  • Test finished equipment to confirm proper functionality.
  • Complete inspection checklists and notify supervisors for final approval.
  • Prepare products for shipment including crating boxing and adding necessary materials.

Maintenance & Safety

  • Maintain a clean organized workspace and report tool repair needs.
  • Suggest improvements to processes and specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience: 12 years in mechanical assembly with a background in automotive or engine repair a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency with hand tools the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions and a mechanical aptitude.
  • Physical Abilities: Capable of standing for long periods and using pneumatic tools with shortduration vibrations.
  • Traits: Detailoriented accurate and eager to learn specialized processes like electrical wiring.
