Job Description
Join the Husqvarna Construction team in Olathe KS as a Product Assembler and play a vital role in crafting highquality cutting and sawing equipment including tools for concrete tile masonry metal and more. Youll assemble parts into finished products ensuring exceptional quality and reliability.
Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly Tasks
- Assemble various components using blueprints hand tools and pneumatic tools performing tasks like wiring bolting aligning and torquing.
- Preassemble parts such as engines water pumps transmissions and blade guards.
- Ensure precise fit and finish applying decals and paint touchups as needed.
Quality Control
- Test finished equipment to confirm proper functionality.
- Complete inspection checklists and notify supervisors for final approval.
- Prepare products for shipment including crating boxing and adding necessary materials.
Maintenance & Safety
- Maintain a clean organized workspace and report tool repair needs.
- Suggest improvements to processes and specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: 12 years in mechanical assembly with a background in automotive or engine repair a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with hand tools the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions and a mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Abilities: Capable of standing for long periods and using pneumatic tools with shortduration vibrations.
- Traits: Detailoriented accurate and eager to learn specialized processes like electrical wiring.
