Job Description
You will
- Develop and oversee the implementation of advanced data observability frameworks to ensure comprehensive monitoring and analysis of data systems.
- Mentor and guide data engineering teams in the adoption and integration of observability practices.
- Create sophisticated metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on data system performance reliability and integrity.
- Lead investigations into data incidents providing expert analysis and recommendations for systemic improvements.
- Engage with key clients to assess their data needs and design customized observability strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Champion the adoption of new observability technologies and methodologies setting the standard for industry best practices.
You have
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field with a preference for additional certifications in data management.
- At least 7 years of experience in a data observability leadership role with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Expert knowledge of data pipeline architectures data warehousing big data technologies and cloud services.
- Mastery of observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana Datadog or Splunk with the ability to customize and extend their functionality.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills capable of inspiring teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
