Childrens Minnesotas cardiac programis the largest pediatric cardiac program in Minnesota renowned for its commitment to excellence in pediatric cardiac care. Our CVICU is a stateoftheart facility equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled physicians nurses and APPs. We are dedicated to providing compassionate familycentered care while pushing the boundaries of innovation in pediatric cardiology.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role you will:
Required Qualifications:
*Masters degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program.
* Current national certification as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNPAC) or Physician Assistant (PAC).
* Ideally 12 years of experience working in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit or a comparable highacuity setting.
* Advanced knowledge of pediatric cardiology critical care medicine and hemodynamic monitoring.
* Proficiency in performing advanced procedures.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* BLS and PALS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ECMO management.
* Experience with ventricular assist devices (VADs).
* Participation in research and quality improvement initiatives.
* Fellowship training in pediatric critical care or pediatric cardiology.

When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
