Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Department: Cardiovascular Unit
Location: Athena Medtech
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM 7:30 AM Monday to Friday 3 shifts/week (36 hours total)
Position Summary:
Athena Medtech is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This night-shift role requires a highly skilled clinician with strong critical thinking abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CVICU or a critical care environment

Active RN license in good standing
-
Certification in CVICU nursing (RN-CVICU) preferred
-
Traveler RN-CVICU experience is a plus
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans based on physician orders and nursing assessments.

Monitor record and communicate patient condition and progress to the interdisciplinary team.

Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient treatment.

Accurately document nursing interventions observations and outcomes.

Actively participate in patient discharge planning in collaboration with the broader healthcare team.

Respond effectively in critical situations using sound judgment under pressure.
