About Topline Pro
Were building AI powered Shopify for service businesses. We help service pros (e.g. roofers landscapers painters cleaners) acquire direct business fast. Up and running within minutes using Gen AI our digital storefront products help pros get discovered trusted and booked repeatedly.
Topline Pro is cofounded by Nick Ornitz (CEO) and Shannon Kay (CPO) with an excellent team of 50 rockstars with plans to expand more in 2025. We serve thousands of local service businesses and were named as one of the 2023 and 2024 top 50 Tech Companies building for SMBs.
Were YCbacked and well funded (Series A 2023 with multiple years of runway and weve experienced rapid growth in the past year having grown 6x since our Series A. Were looking for our first full time people operations role.

What youll do
- Reenforce and Evolve Company Culture Foster a highperformance missiondriven culture across our Brooklyn and Boston offices ensuring alignment with our values as we grow.
- Recruit & Retain Top Talent Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract hire and retain worldclass talent across all functions optimizing for speed and quality.
- Drive Leadership Development Implement programs to develop managers and leaders ensuring team members have clear career growth opportunities.
- Optimize Onboarding & Employee Experience Enhance onboarding training and engagement initiatives to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.
- Oversee Compensation & Benefits Develop and manage competitive compensation equity and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while staying aligned with financial goals.
- Enhance Performance & Feedback Systems Improve performance management processes including goalsetting performance reviews and realtime feedback loops.
- Strengthen Internal Communication & Alignment Ensure strong communication flows across teams fostering transparency trust and collaboration.
- Be a Strategic Thought Partner Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all peoplerelated matters helping to shape the companys longterm growth strategy.
What were looking for
- 6 years of experience with people operations and recruiting
- Experience with subscriptions businesses / SaaS
- Lots of hustle and willingness to learn new things
- Ability to move fast iterate quickly and juggle multiple threads
- Desire to work with or experience working with small teams in an agile startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Someone eager to learn and grow
