Responsibilities
- Collaborate with merchandisers marketers team and accounting staff to ensure accuracy and consistency in contract interpretation negotiation and creation.
- Understand analyze and interpret contract terms and phrases to mitigate risk potentialavoid contractual disputes andprotectcompany reputation and financial interests.
- Understand governing contracts involved in contract creation and vessel ; interpret and apply the underlying governing contracts when and where appropriate.
- Build a strong rapport with other CHS offices to establish and maintain positive working relationships to ensure successfulcontract creation between intercompany offices profit centers and customers.
- Serve as a liaison between traders marketers and corporate legal and compliance departments to ensure contracts are issued according to CHS standards and within all applicable laws and regulations.
- Administer contract negotiation record keeping process amendments contract summaries etc.
- Maintain and review documentation for internal and external audit and trade flow purposes.
- Ensure all required due diligence related to assigned projects is complete and sufficient to protect the company from unnecessary risk.
- Serve as the principal contact person for the closing function verify all data regarding property closing and ensure proper documents are received.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in Compliance and/or Contract Management/Administration
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred in Legal Studies Accounting Business Business Administration Finance Economics or related field
- Broad knowledge of contract administration and ability to applyconcepts in a wide scope of assignments of varying levels of complexity
- Knowledge of data management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
