Overview and Responsibilities

Music teacher in a new SEN provision

Location: Horsham West Sussex

Contract Type: Permanent fulltime

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary:(M1 UPS1 depending on experience

Start Date: Summer term 2025 or Autumn term 2025

As part of our growth strategy we are really pleased to be opening a brand new SEND Secondary School in 2025 in the heart ofHorsham West Sussexfor young neurodivergent people aged 1116. Many students are working at or close to age expectations. Most of our students are coming to us from mainstream education to have access to an adapted National Curriculum delivered in small classes with a focus on meeting their sensory needs and support for their emotional wellbeing.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the delivery of a music curriculum to students in Keys Stage 3 and individual interested in continuing music in KS4. Flexibility is key to this role as is the ability to offer personalised opportunities for our students.

The role can be part time music teaching only or full time if you are able to offer another subject.

This is an exciting opportunity where you would be integral to developing a unique SEND provision.
