About the Role:
As an experienced Demand Planner you will be responsible for ensuring accurate demand forecasting optimising inventory levels and providing the highest level of customer support. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders providing datadriven insights to support strategic decisionmaking whilst focussed on supporting our Queensland Operations.
Skills and Duties:
With an immediate start you will be required to:
- Review and validate customer inventory forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels in Queensland
- Provide timely short and longterm demand forecasts to the centralised planning team
- Drive stock turn improvements and safety stock accuracy
- Analyse trends identify gaps and advise senior stakeholders on supply priorities
- Have a strong commitment to Quality Assurance (QA) continuous improvement and safety procedures
- Collaborate with associated departments including Operations Customer Support Purchasing Warehouse and Logistics.
Requirements:
To be successful in this position you will have:
- A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent and preferably have experience in demand planning and forecasting
- Expertise in inventory management principles and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI advanced Excel user and good with MS Office
- Ability to engage with stakeholders influence decisionmaking and present strategic insights
- A proactive detailoriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
