Team Leader Day Shifts

Hourly Rate: 15.45 per hour

Fulltime Hours 3 to 4 shifts per week) 07:00 19:00

Please note that our client DOES NOT offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Leader for day shifts at our clients care home. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care at least one year of experience in a residential or nursing home setting and a strong understanding of PersonCentred Care Planning.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of residents promoting a safe and inclusive environment and leading a team of care staff.

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum of Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Minimum of two years experience in a residential/nursing home setting in a similar role
  • Awareness of the principles of Personcentred Care Planning
  • Full driving license
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Experience of managing a team

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of highquality care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
  • Supervise and support care staff providing guidance and mentoring as needed
  • Act as a role model in the delivery of personcentred care respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for residents staff and visitors
  • Participate in the development and review of care plans ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of residents
  • Conduct regular staff meetings appraisals and training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of the care team
  • Monitor and maintain comprehensive records in line with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure the holistic wellbeing of residents
  • Implement and adhere to safeguarding procedures to prevent and respond to abuse of vulnerable adults
  • Act as a senior point of contact for residents and their families resolving any concerns or issues with empathy and professionalism
  • Adhere to all policies procedures and regulations applicable to the residential or nursing home setting
