  • Job Title: Instructional Technology Coordinator
    Department: Student Learning
    Reports To: Assistant Superintendent for Student Learning
    Terms and Conditions: 11month work year
    Salary: $70000 to $82000 based on qualifications and experience; competitive benefits package.
    Status: Exempt

    Position Summary
    The Instructional Technology Coordinator plays a key role in supporting teachers students and staff in effectively integrating technology into instruction to enhance learning outcomes. This position collaborates with educators administrators and technology staff to develop and implement instructional technology strategies provide professional development and ensure access to digital tools that foster an innovative and engaging learning environment.

    Essential Job Duties
    Technology Integration & Support
    • Assist teachers in integrating technology effectively into lesson plans and instructional strategies.
    • Support the selection and implementation of educational software digital content and online learning resources.
    • Provide guidance on best practices for utilizing instructional technology to enhance student engagement and achievement.
    • Work closely with curriculum teams to align technology with instructional goals and initiatives.

    Professional Development & Coaching
    • Plan and facilitate professional development sessions on instructional technology tools and strategies.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers on effective technology use in the classroom.
    • Stay informed on emerging trends in educational technology and share best practices with staff.
    • Support faculty in implementing digital learning strategies blended learning and technologyenhanced instruction.

    Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with teachers department chairs and administrators to support technologydriven instructional goals.
    • Serve as a liaison between educators and the technology department to address instructional technology needs.
    • Communicate technologyrelated updates and initiatives to staff and stakeholders.

    Data & Digital Citizenship
    • Support teachers using datadriven instructional technology tools to assess and improve student learning outcomes.
    • Promote responsible and safe use of technology among students by collaborating on digital citizenship initiatives.
    • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of instructional technology programs through data analysis and feedback.

    Technology Resource Management
    • Support the implementation of technologyrelated initiatives ensuring equitable access to digital resources.
    • Assist in troubleshooting instructional technology issues and coordinating with IT staff as needed.
    • Provide input on instructional technology purchases and resource allocation.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Educational Technology Instructional Design or a related field (Masters preferred).
    • Minimum of 35 years of teaching experience with demonstrated expertise in integrating technology into instruction.
    • Experience providing professional development and coaching for educators.
    • Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) digital tools and emerging educational technologies.
    • Effective communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
    • Commitment to equity in educational technology access and implementation.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands
    • Work is performed in a school setting with occasional travel between classrooms and offices.
    • Regular use of computers digital tools and audiovisual equipment.
    • Ability to sit stand and move around classrooms and office spaces as needed.
    • Some lifting (up to 25 lbs. may be required for setting up technology equipment.
