Automotive Service Advisor
McConnell Buick GMC Mobile Alabama

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and initiate the service process by understanding their needs and concerns.
- Document customer concerns accurately so the technicians can perform accurate diagnostics on the vehicle and properly address the concerns.
- Provide detailed and accurate estimates for services and repairs effectively communicating with customers and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Promote and upsell additional services based on the vehicles needs ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
- Schedule appointments and manage customer expectations for wait times and repair timelines.
- Coordinate with the parts department to order necessary parts and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by following up with customers after services are completed.
- Utilize dealership software and systems to document service history and customer interactions.
- Proactive communication!! Communicate with our customerson the status of their vehicle while in our shop for repairs
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and new products to effectively educate and inform customers.
Requirements:
- Punctuality! The most valuable and important trait is to be at work on time!
- High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the automotive dealership environment preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to use computer systems and software.
- Familiarity with document management and invoicing processes.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
