Your Impact
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong drive and a problemsolving attitude to join our Inventory and Cost Management team. In the role you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from routine to sophisticated analysis and play a critical role in the global inventory and cost of goods sold reporting resulting in complete and accurate financials. Additionally you will be working in an agile and innovative environment while establishing relationships within the accounting team and the larger business operations organization (e.g. FP&A Supply Chain Operations and Sales etc.. Exceptional candidates will be critical problem solvers with a focus on implementing process improvements to streamline and scale processes for growth.
Reports to:Director Commercial & Revenue Controllership New Ventures
What Youll Do
Financial Close and Compliance:
- Execute the month end close process which includes tasks such as but not limited to preparing journal entries account reconciliations and fluctuations analyses
- Upload annual standard costs into the ERP system assist with new SKU setup and perform recurring BOM reviews
- Ensure complete and accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Help lead the implementation of best practices on the ProcuretoPay team to simplify standardize and scale our business
Performance Reporting and Analysis:
- Continuous monitoring of Inventory Adjustment and Cost Activity to ensure the accuracy of transactions recorded by Supply Chain and Operations
- Manage periodic standard cost variance audits comparing standard prices to actual production costs
- Review the companys inventory reserves for excess and obsolete inventory reporting
- Help plan and organize quarterly and yearly physical inventory accounts in a Global setting
- Assist with the preparation of weekly reporting packages including gross margin analyses and material forecasting
Collaboration and Forecasting:
- Work closely with FP&A Global Supply Chain Controllership and business leaders to understand any variations in the budgeted operating plan against monthly manufacturing costing
- Monitor the accumulation of all material costs direct labor and overhead expenses
- Support internal and external auditor requests M&A integration and ERP implementation
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested to support accelerated growth
What youll bring
- 5 years of overall accounting experience within a fastpaced highgrowth environment preferably in public or large preIPO companies with a global manufacturing footprint
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or a related field.
- Understand of standard costing and related variance reporting
- Experience in SOX control documentation/
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data
- Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking capability
- Process reengineering involvement and/or process efficiency focus
- Strong analytical skills accuracy and attention to detail are a must
- Ability to identify and drive process improvement
- Excellent time and selfmanagement skills ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines required
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus
