What Youll Do

  • As the Pantex Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation (DNN) program coordinator you will directly support the Pantex DNN program lead and program managers (PM) in supporting the daily functions required to maintain programmatic health. Currently Pantex supports programs in the NA21 NA22 NA23 and NA24.
  • This coordinators primary focus will be to support the PMs in internal and external reporting and communication. This includes development and maintenance of monthly status reports (MSR) programmatic financial health weekly highlights Performance Evaluation Management Plan (PEMP) input G2 updating webPMIS updating assisting with proposal call coordination and management of site visits. This position reports to the Pantex Global Security and Strategic Partnerships Director and the Pantex NA20 Program Lead.
  • The NA20 Program Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Providing direct support to the Pantex NA21 NA22 NA23 and NA24 program managers ensuring programmatic health;
    • Frequent coordination with Pantex financial controls accounting and business planning organizations and systems to support seamless of requested NNSA scope;
    • Preparing monthly financial reports identifying discrepancies and potential misalignments of versus formal baseline planning;
    • Regularly monitor and update NNSA financial reporting tools such as G2 and webPMIS;
    • Coordinating the development of weekly monthly quarterly midyear and final reports on program performance;
    • Attend programmatic meetings as assigned in particular scope and budget meetings to ensure firsthand knowledge in support PMs in Pantex fiscal year Annual Controlled Baseline (ACB) planning and maintenance;
    • Coordinate along with Protocol and PMs Pantex site visits ensuring all aspects of the visit are completed within procedural parameters;
    • Aid PMs in the review and editing of white papers programmatic reports that are required for new program development site office needs or NNSA headquarters performance.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Masters degree
  • Staff with high school diplomas may be considered on an exceptional basis if they have more years of relevant experience. Typically each year of college education is equal to two years of experience.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a business discipline and 4 years of relevant experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to perform selfdirected tactical of goals;
  • Demonstrated skills as an effective communicator.
  • Bachelors Degree in a business or technical discipline plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in project management.
  • Experience with Pantex financial information.
  • Experience developing monthly status reports
  • Demonstrated skills as an effective communicator with NNSA customer base.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Statements of Work cost estimates abbreviated business cases and white papers.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required candidate must complete a counterintelligencescope polygraph pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
