Job Title: Locum Consultant Microbiologist
Grade: Consultant
Location: Birmingham West Midlands
Contract: 12months fixedterm with CESR support
Rate: 105504 to 139882 a year pro rata per annum
We are looking for a Locum Consultant in Microbiology to join an established Microbiology service in Birmingham. This role involves providing comprehensive microbiological care and supporting the infection control service.
The appointee together with the existing three Consultant Medical Microbiologists will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive efficient and costeffective clinical Microbiology infection prevention and control and laboratory service to the Trust and other users of the Microbiology laboratory.
CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMCspecialist registration.

As a Microbiology Consultant you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating infectious diseases managing patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be vital in guiding teams to deliver highquality microbiology services and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
