This contract provides a 24hour emergency repair service. This post offers the opportunity to participate in the outofhours callout rota which can potentially boost earnings by approximately 10k per annum based on one week out of a fourweek rota. Participation is optional and not mandatory.
About the role
We are looking for experienced Chargehand to join our repairs and maintenance team in Eastbourne/Lewes. Working with home first on a variety of residential works working in occupied void properties and communal areas our team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service.
As a chargehand you will be carrying a broad range of property repairs the role typically involves a variety of tasks such as meeting surveyors scaffold sign offs ladder and van checks supporting the supervisors with anything required.
You will gain their CISRS while working for the company.
Key Criteria;
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
