Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and yearend closing procedures and prepare respective financial reports including reconciliations of various G/L accounts
- Post standard and nonstandard journal entries with emphasis on simplifying or eliminating entries and improving processes
- Support annual internal and external audits including the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements
- Supervise and train direct reports
- Responsible for preparing consolidated accounts and reporting expenses under appropriate subsidiary
- Help define document and execute proper internal controls
- Prepare quarterly and annual cash flow
- Responsible for appropriate month and quarterend accruals
- Perform financial analysis and provide weekly monthly and quarterly reporting
- Recommend improvements to current accounting processes to enhance and streamline the department
- Prepare documentation and other necessary information as required for completion of financial audits
- Assist with special projects and adhoc requests as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; CPA a plus
- 6 years of public accounting or related experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP regulatory reporting requirements account analysis and accounting policy
- Large ERP system experience (we use NetSuite) as well as advanced ability in Excel
- Proficiency in Jira Confluence iOS Google Workspace a plus
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both individually and as a team
- Quick learner and problem solver when faced with new issues or challenges
- A proactive selfdirected approach with the ability to multitask and a high sense of urgency
- Fosters teamwork across the organization with excellent communication skills
- Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative environment
- Passion for driving and delivering results and delivering constructive change
- Highly flexible with an entrepreneurial mindset
$120000 $145000 a year
