Building the new procurement capabilities through 2025 we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist in Switzerland. This role offers the opportunity to drive supplier selection manage sourcing initiatives and contribute to a bestinclass procurement function in a dynamic evolving environment.

The role
As Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategies to optimize procurement operations manage supplier relationships with assigned suppliers including negotiations on pricing and contracts and you will manage sourcing initiatives to ensure costeffectiveness supply continuity and in full alignment with business goals. You will build strong networks and foster collaboration with suppliers key stakeholders and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Drive efficient procurement processes by managing purchase requisitions supplier selection and PO tracking. Ensure timely supply mitigate risks and maintain accurate procurement data.
Lead sourcing projects to drive cost efficiencies and mitigate supply risks for the site
Review purchase requisitions and align procurement activities for efficiency
Manage quote inquiries supplier selection and issue purchase orders
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GMP FDA EMA) and internal SOPs
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain business continuity
Monitor procurement KPIs drive costsaving initiatives and provide updates to the Site Procurement Manager
Collaborate with site stakeholders finance and crossfunctional teams on procurement solutions ERP implementation and process improvements
Skills & Competencies
We are looking for a procurement professional with a strong understanding of sourcing contracting and stakeholder management in a regulated environment.
What You Bring:
Experience: 25 years in procurement ideally within pharmaceuticals or vaccine manufacturing
Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP FDA and EMA regulations
Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain Business or a related field (CIPS CPSM preferred)
Skills: Expertise in procuretopay strategic sourcing RFx processes and contract negotiation
TechSavvy: Proficiency in ERP and procurement tools (SAP Microsoft Dynamics Medius)
Languages: Fluent in English and German
