Job Description
Role Purpose:
The job holder will analyze and coordinate repair actions related to RAN (Radio Access Network) hardware (HW) and performance indicators to ensure service delivery is maintained and improved.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare and maintain reports on RAN HW equipment rollout faults performance issues and recovery actions.
- Supervise and monitor restoration activity plans on a daily and weekly basis.
- Develop daily and weekly activity plans aligned with project needs.
- Liaise with internal and external teams to resolve faults/failures and performance issues related to RAN HW equipment.
- Support remote fault diagnosis and resolution for RAN HW malfunctions including installation and RF equipment deficiencies.
- Guide local technicians onsite with workaround or permanent solutions.
- Analyze site floor plans equipment layouts and connection diagrams for RRU/RF/antenna configurations.
- Work weekday shifts (Monday to Friday) either morning or afternoon.
Requirements
Essential:
- Technical Institute Degree or degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
- Expertise in HUAWEI performance metrics.
- Proficiency in MSAccess and SQL databases.
- Experience in RAN HW equipment operation and maintenance (e.g. Huawei Ericsson Nokia BTS: GSM UMTS LTE).
- Strong understanding of RAN HW systems network architecture and topology.
- Knowledge of RF and passive components design and installation.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and change management processes including trouble ticketing workflows.
- Solid problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient with Windows and MS Office tools; able to use hightech tools effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
- Strong decisionmaking ability under pressure.
- Customerfocused collaborative enthusiastic and passionate.
Good to have:
- Postgraduate degree in Telecoms.
