Job Summary/Purpose
The Senior Staff Transformer Design Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for preparing the electrical design of transformers as well as achieving design innovations and the optimization of the end products in compliance with IEEE design rules quality standards cost position and time schedule. The candidate will be responsible for Electrical Design (Calculations) for order (detailed design) as well as for offer calculations/preparation of transformers of all types.
This position acts in a lead capacity in a program or system role among peers within a department in a technical discipline short of a supervisor but with responsibilities of some level of coordination and/or review. Working in conjunction with other engineering disciplines this individual will be responsible for system functions such as system planning asset management developing design/construction standards and/or distribution field device automation.
