We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Deskside Support Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to endusers within our organization. The primary focus of this role will be on deployment design and engineering support related to devices and applications used by our employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deployment Support
Conduct interviews with endusers to understand their application needs.
Evaluate current base image and identify necessary applications for each user.
Assist in the installation and configuration of applications on user devices.
Manage administrative privileges and ensure proper software deployment.
2. Design Support
Document all applications used by different units within the organization.
Maintain an uptodate repository of applications as a source of truth.
Collaborate with teams to design and implement efficient support processes.
3. Engineering Support
Provide guidance on setting up user shares share drives and utilizing Intune.
Assist in the consolidation of over 700 groups and perform cleanup tasks.
Support in the setup and maintenance of servers for optimal performance.
This role requires the onsite support specialist to visit multiple client locations (all located in Baltimore) depending on needs. A valid license and reliable vehicle is needed. Mileage will be reimbursed.
**Qualifications:**
Proven experience in providing deskside support and technical assistance.
Understanding of the Microsoft Active Directory Entra and Intune platforms.
Ability to read technical documentation during implementation and troubleshooting scenarios.
Strong knowledge of Intune device deployment processes (Autopilot) and software installation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server setup and maintenance is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively when needed.
