***Applicants must reside or be willing to relocate to the Olympia area. The duty station for this position will be the employees personal residence.The position includes a combination of home office and field work. Travel will be required to audit sites mainly within Western Washingtonwith flexibility in scheduling. Some overnight travel is required. WSLCB will provide you a vehicle for travel and cover mileage costs. ***

This position reports directly to the Audit Supervisor in the WSLCBs Finance Division. The position serves and complements the WSLCBs mission and goals through independent analysis of the production purchase and sale of liquor and cannabis products by educating licensees to improve compliance and by providing assistance to other agency divisions and regulatory agencies.
This position engages with the largest most complex business industries such as retailers distributors distillers breweries public houses importers and cannabis retailers. Required Qualifications:
Experience for required qualifications can be gained through various combinations of formal professional employment and educational experience. See below for how you may qualify.
Option 1:
Seven 7 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing along with 24 semester or 36 quarter hours of coursework in accounting.Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Option 2:
An Associates degree in accounting or related field which includes 24 semester or 36 quarter hours in accounting.
AND
Five 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing. Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Option 3:
A Bachelors degree in accounting or related field or above which includes 24 semester or 36 quarter hours in accounting.AND
Three 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing. Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Option 4:
A Masters degree in accounting or related field or above which includes 24 semester or 36 quarter hours in accounting.AND
One 1 year of relevant professional experience in accounting or auditing. Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Word and Excel.
The following certifications or degree may substitute for one year of experience:
