Speech Language Pathologist
PRN
Available shifts would be weekdays between 8:30am 4:00pm. Consistent need currently available.
PRN Rate: $60/hr
Responsibilities
Seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to work on a multidisciplinary team in the Day Neuro Clinic. Program focuses on return to highest level of independence possible as well as community reintegration for patients with acquired brain injuries and additional comorbidities including aphasia cognitive communication deficits motor speech disorders dysphagia. Candidates who have strengths or particular interest in community reintegration (including returning patients to work and school) is preferred. Patients are treated as part of a multidisciplinary team six hours a day Monday through Friday. Cognitive rehab TBI and CVA experience required. Looking for candidates who are creative innovative and work well on a team.
Qualifications
Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American SpeechLanguage & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience (CFY Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred.
Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
