Job Description
Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline sealing and thermalmanagement technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternativeenergy powertrains. Serving three primary markets passenger vehicle commercial truck and offhighway equipment Dana provides the worlds originalequipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering manufacturing and distribution facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of product.
- Conduct in process audits.
- Address all internal quality issues and quality awareness training.
- Handle document control programs in QSI/Compliant Pro Database.
- Conduct receiving inspections.
- Recommend modifications of quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specs.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of gage usage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with all departments.
- Computer literacy
- Basic understanding of Quality principles
- Familiar with quality principles of ISO/QS 9000/TS16949 Systems
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to follow the below requirements:
