JOB SUMMARY: The RN works under the direction of the Director or Residential Services. The RN must have the ability to make difficult program decisions for a client population with serious and persistent mental illness. Additionally decisions also involve staffing safety security and infection control issues. The RN must have an understanding of the population served and be able to problemsolve and educate employees in each of the Community Support departments. Work is reviewed through meetings with the Director of Residential Services evaluation of intervention decisions and compliance with state and federal rules regulations and agency policies and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Director of Residential Services in supervising staff that assists clients with their needs/goals through the development of the treatment and discharge plan. Work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position exercises intermittent supervision over other employees. Supervisory decisions are under the direction of the Director of Residential Services. QUALIFICATIONS: The RN must have experience in supervision treatment planning program development infection control agespecific and cultural competencies and safety and security issues. The Incumbent must be a licensed RN and possess a valid Florida drivers license. Incumbents must have experience with the population served or obtain appropriate training and education within a 90day orientation period. FullTime position. Flexible schedule!!Great benefits!!!
