Job Description
The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for its next Recreation Coordinator to join their Property Maintenance team! Ideally situated on Californias Central Coastline and steps away from pristine beaches. The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- At least six months of customer/guest service required.
- Ability to write and communicate fluently in English is essential to the role.
- Previous experience in hotels and or physical activities planning/coordination is a plus.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that would include mornings weekdays evenings weekends and holidays is required.
- Most importantly a service heart to deliver a high level of service to our guests!
The hourly wage for this position is $19.00.
What will I be doing
As a Recreation Coordinator you would be responsible for coordinating promoting publicizing and facilitating club activities and programs in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Coordinate promote publicize and facilitate all activities and programs for the spa/salon/fitness center/health club.
- Perform receptionist duties including but not limited to answering telephones taking and relaying messages processing and recording financial transactions scheduling appointments and stocking and maintaining supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area in accordance with federal state local and company standards.
- Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety.
- Perform general club duties as needed.
