Job Description
Key Functions:
Support government sponsor programs that encourage adoption of national health data exchange standards by creating prototypes demonstrations and test systems.
Work with standards organizations such as HL7 to develop and refine health information standards.
Help develop and standards and architectures for clinical quality measure and clinical decision support.
Help formulate the vision and implementation of computable medical records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Eight or more years of experience in healthcare information management.
BS or MS in computer science.
Languages: Java Ruby and/or JavaScript.
Standards: HL7 v3 CCDA FHIR RDF OWL.
Travel:
This position will require overnight travel up to 15 of the time as well as some local travel.
Clearance Statement:
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position MITRE will consider only applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
