Job Description
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing services (e.g. bug fixes security updates improvements in Java Scala and TypeScript)
- Building new APIs and web applications
- Migrating legacy services to new technologies
- Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)
- Running user profile services to store and manage user data
- Be able to communicate with UX Designer to challenge hardtoimplement design elements and agree with them on lowereffort alternatives
- Managing other developers or running Teams
- Create technical Task out of a Story provided by our Product Manager and UX Designer
Requirements:
MustHave:
- Strong TypeScript (JavaScript) skills
- Java Spring Boot skills
- Designing fast scalable and responsive APIs
- Experience with hyperscalers AWS or Azure
- Experience designing complex relational databases
- Experience with SQL Databases (PostgresSQL)
- Fluent English (at least UpperIntermediate level)
Should Have:
- Knowledge of React.js (or great interest to learn it)
- Strong TypeScript (JavaScript) skills
- Good knowledge of JavaScript event handling
- Good HTML and strong CSS skills
- Good problemsolving skills
