Description
The ROLE
- Mentor supervise and provide technical support to the team.
- Prior experience withscheduling job delegation and coordination of workshop employees is essential.
- Maintain an understanding of customer requirements and expectations and provide accurate and timely communications to Key Stakeholders
- Exposure to a diverse range of machine shop techniques typically associated with the heavy industrial machinery.
- Promote and support a safety culture that effectively manages risks in line with companys policies and procedures whilst achieving continuous improvement.
- Ensure commercial targets are within budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
About YOU
- Relevant Trade Qualification (Fitting and Machining).
- Experience in a similar role withdemonstrated leadership experience is desirable.
- Able to demonstrate a command of wideranging highly specialised technical creative or conceptual skills.
- The ability to prioritise workloads with excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical skills in machining and related production processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication witha positive approach to leadership.
- Willingness and ability to support and mentor team members.
