Risk Reporting Specialist

Full Time Position 2 or 3 days in Glasgow office with 2 or 3 days remote working.

Salary Up to 50000 depending on experience.

Role Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Reporting Risk or Data experience who is keen to grow their career in financial services.

You might be a Financial Services professional with 2 years experience who has previously worked in an Operations or Compliance role at a financial institution.

Full and detailed training will be provided

Skills and Experience

• Experience in Financial Services working with large data sets in a manipulation extraction or transformation capacity.
• Proven skills in VBA Python and SQL.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider remote team.
• An exposure to Risk Liquidity Market or Credit Risk would be advantageous.

• Knowledge/ability to construct develop and maintain practical but robust tactical tools

• Experience of working with large datasets and manipulation of data

• Ability to navigate systems access data and identify discrepancies

• Knowledge of investment banking business models of capital market products and of financial products including fixed income and equity (cash and derivatives) is advantageous.

• A team player comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.

• Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for project deliverables.
