Job Description
Position: SchoolBased Occupational Therapist w/ Cross Country Education
Location: Bronx NY (Two Locations)
- Caritas Elementary 2336 Andrews Ave Bronx NY 10468
- Veritas Elementary 600 E 156th St Bronx NY 10455
Pay Rate: Competitive salary for permanent hires will be negotiated with the district
Dates of Assignment: Asap June 24 2025
Hours:
- MondayThursday: 7:45 AM 3:05 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM 12:00 PM
Position Type: FullTime
License Requirement: NYLicense
Case Load:
- Serving students in grades K4 based on Related Service Authorizations (RSAs).
- Work with individuals and groups (up to 3 students).
- Case load split between the two campuses; SLP will establish a schedule once RSAs are provided.
- Student service sessions are 30 minutes each and include logging and notetaking.
- No additional billing is permitted beyond service hours.
Compensation:
- Weekly pay rate determined by the number of students serviced and hours logged/submitted to the NYDOE site.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current SpeechLanguage Pathologist License and/or Certification to practice in New York State.
- Ability to provide a National Provider Identification (NPI) number.
Additional Information:
- SLP will undergo interviews conducted by Cross Country Education for direct hiring.
- Following the interview the candidate must complete NYDOE and CCE onboarding.
