Job Description

Pediatric SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Daphne Alabama Employment Type: FullTime or PartTime

American Autism & Rehabilitation Center (AARC) isseeking a dedicated Pediatric SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to joinour growing outpatient clinic in Daphne AL. This is a rewarding opportunity towork in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment alongsideSpeechLanguage Pathologists Occupational Therapists Physical Therapists andApplied Behavior Analysts.

About the Role:
You will be part of a team committed to providing highquality therapy servicesto infants toddlers children teens and young adults. Our coordinatedmultidisciplinary approach allows us to treat a variety of congenital andacquired neurological conditions including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Sensory Processing Disorders
  • Developmental Delays
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down Syndrome and other genetic conditions
  • Communication feeding and swallowing disorders
  • Spasticity and more

Qualifications:

  • Licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologist in the State of Alabama
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
  • Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative teambased environment
  • Experience working with children with multiple disabilities and/or behavioral challenges preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with community resources is a plus

Job Type:

  • Fulltime and Parttime positions available
