You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Assistant Director at ChickfilA plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly efficiently and in alignment with ChickfilAs core values of excellence hospitality and community impact. This position supports a Director in a given area and helps oversee daily operations develop team members and drive key business goals including customer experience food safety and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring efficiency in frontofhouse (FOH) and backofhouse (BOH) processes.
Maintain high standards of food safety quality and cleanliness in compliance with ChickfilA brand standards and health regulations.
Lead and support shifts ensuring proper delegation of tasks and effective workflow.
Troubleshoot restaurant technology equipment and inventory to prevent disruptions in service.
Team Development & Leadership:
Support the hiring training and development of team members fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
Provide coaching and mentorship to shift leaders and team members to enhance performance and leadership skills.
Assist in labor management to ensure efficiency and proper staffing levels.
Promote a positive and professional work environment that aligns with ChickfilAs mission and values.
Customer Service & Brand Representation:
Uphold and model ChickfilAs standard of hospitality ensuring exceptional occasions for care.
Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a serviceminded approach.
Monitor and analyze guest feedback to drive improvements within a given service area.
Financial & Business Performance:
Assist in controlling costs including labor food and operational expenses to maximize profitability.
Support marketing initiatives community involvement and brand outreach efforts to increase sales and customer engagement.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous leadership experience in the restaurant hospitality or retail industry.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make quick effective decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for people development.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and efficiency.
