Our team is dedicated to designing Silicon validation reference and production boards using cuttingedge Broadcom SOCs.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Design Engineer with a strong focus on system design to join our dynamic team at Broadcoms CSG. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the entire hardware development cycle from concept to NPI production with a specific emphasis on system design including schematics and PCB layout board bringup and customer support.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of complex PCB system designs from specification to compliance testing ensuring high performance and reliability.
Drive the implementation of highspeed SERDES channels 50/100G and above) and highdensity BGA pin layouts utilizing lowloss PCB materials.
Oversee the design and implementation of highpower lownoise analog power systems DDR interfaces and other critical components.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including ASIC SI PI DVT Sysops Software AE and Mechanical/Thermal to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Provide technical leadership and support to ODMs OEMs and PCB/PCA suppliers both domestically and overseas.
Utilize advanced tools and techniques for signal integrity and power integrity analysis ensuring robust performance in challenging environments.
Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 12/10 years of related experience
810 years of proven experience as a Hardware Systems Design Engineer with a focus on system design and development.
Expertise in PCB design tools such as DxDesigner/OrCad and Cadence Allegro with handson experience in schematic capture and layout.
Strong understanding of power integrity concepts signal integrity principles and highspeed board design methodologies.
Proficiency in system bringup characterization and debugging of complex embedded systems.
Familiarity with interfaces such as PCIe DDR USB SPI and I2C and their integration into systemlevel designs.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $141000 $225000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
