Job Description

We are looking for a compassionateMedication Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate has a cando attitude a friendly demeanor and the ability to provide many levels of support to our residents.

No Mandations!

Hourly Range$17.75 23.00

We are now offering 12 hour shifts! 3rd Shift 10pm6:30am or 6pm 6am

Full Time Position Weekday and Every other Weekend/Holiday

No wage Cap! Room for advancement!

Responsibilities:

  • Passing of medications after successful completion of training program and test
  • Taking vital signs
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eating

  • Help residents take prescribed medication and assist residents with ambulation

  • Assist with physical therapy exercises

  • Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary

  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting residents with their meals including serving and other tasks if necessary

Qualifications

  • Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform jobrelated duties

  • Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation

  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

  • Supportive and compassionate

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience as a Caregiver CNA or HHA or completion of a CNA Program (Preferred but not necessary)

  • Take pride in providing high quality care

  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to resident)
