Job Description
The Berwick Area YMCA s looking for a number of Summer Camp Counselors to join our team! We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and of the 2023 Summer Day Camp Season (JuneSeptember 2023
- Provide safe supervision of all Day Campers involved in our programs
- Maintain proper care of all YMCA/Camp property and supplies
- Participate in daily activities with Day Campers including team sports swimming hiking arts and crafts teambuilding and more
Qualifications
- Must be 18 to apply
- Available JuneSeptember for weekly programs as scheduled
- Able to complete all background checks and clearances (FBI State Police Child Abuse)
- Able to complete CPR/First Aid and Water Safety Training prior to or upon hire
Hiring Timeline
- February April: Initial applications accepted and reviewed
- April: First round interviews held at the YMCA
- May: Final selections made; Attend mandatory Camp training
- JuneSeptember: Day Camp!
