We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Actuarial Manager with Reserving and Capital experience to join our London based team. This is a great job for someone with Lloyds of London experience wanting to take a leading role helping to shape the future of our Global Corporate & Specialty (GCS) business as we integrate Probitas the Lloyds vehicle we acquired in 2024.
A bit about the job:
This role has been formed as a result of the acquisition of Probitas and the key focus will be to oversee and help drive forward integration activity within Reserving and Capital Modelling. This role fits within the GCS Reserving team reporting into the Head of Reserving for Commercial Lines although there will also be oversight of Capital modelling and so there will be close interactions with the Head of Economic Capital. The role will involve building close relationships with stakeholders across both Aviva and Probitas as we move to a more integrated business.
Skills and experience were looking for:
Extensive reserving experience including working within a Lloyds Syndicate or through a consultancy role with Syndicate exposure.
Hands on capital modelling experience ideally with exposure to a Lloyds capital requirements.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and manage stakeholders effectively.
A confident proactive individual ready to drive success.
Proven track record of effective project management showing the ability to meet deadlines despite setbacks.
