Job Description
Sourcing Manager EMSElectronic Manufacturing Services
Location: Surat
Experience: 7 to 12 Years
Role Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Build inward (RM/Component) supply chain organically (nonChina/China)
Identify evaluate & onboard suppliers for basis PCBA components
Develop onboarding SOPs & Methods for suppliers
Onboard Suppliers basis order requirements (basis BOM) in minimal lead times. Drive lead time vs cost trade offs.
Experience:
7 yrs of Sourcing experience in Aerospace and D fense/ Industrials electronics manufacturing
Relevant roles: Supply Chain Head Procurement manger Sr. Procurement manager Sourcing Manager Sourcing Lead
Degree Requirements: BE Btech BSc or MBA (Ops/Supply Chain)
Proven experience managing supplier relationships negotiating contracts and driving costsaving initiatives
Role & Responsibilities
Supplier Onboarding:
Setting up inbound RM and outbound logistics infrastructure and processes
Identify & Evaluate suppliers basis current A&D landscape Develop framework and SOP for Supplier evaluation and onboarding
Supply Chain Management:
Develop supplier KPIs against criteria and measure effective performance quality and compliance.
Develop efficient procurement processes (eProcurement & ERP integration)
Monitor industry trends and technology roadmaps and partner with the design team to identify supply and demand challenges
Build and manage teams. Lead the training of key roles of procurement team
Cost Champion:
Develop & Maintain multiple suppliers to get best pricing
Identify alternate suppliers for promoter contracts to bring additional value add
Drive periodic scanning for opportunities to consolidate spend reduce cost and improve services
