Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and purchasing departments. The position monitors and analyzes accounting data to produce financial reports and statements and various other grant or governmental reporting while establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods policies and principles.
This is a fulltime in person position. The pay range for this role is $90209 $96220 based on experience.

What Youll Do:
- Oversees monthend and yearend accounting close processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepares and reviews journal entries verifies and reconciles asset and liability accounts and allocates revenues and expenses to proper periods.
- Prepares state and federal grant reports reconciliations and collaborates with operational directors to maximize grant utilization.
- Assists with annual financial & single audits and cost reporting prepares yearend adjusting entries and audit workpapers and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Completes quarterly and annual hospital and nursing home survey reporting.
- Provides financial insights and recommendations to administration identifies areas for improvement and develops policies and procedures to enhance financial management.
- Investigates errors suggests process improvements and implements changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Supports the Director with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
What You Bring:
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or another relevant field earned from an accredited fouryear college or university academic program.
- Three or more years of progressively responsible and relevant work in the accounting or financial fields.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or masters degree in accounting or a related field.
